Leadership matters. The Partnership has a responsibility for its children, staff, estates and place in society. We have a duty to shape the debates which will create our future. We want to shift the dial on issues that impact the Partnership.

At Greenheart, we recognise that the future in which our children will pursue their career ambitions will be one that is built on a digital landscape. Technology is becoming increasingly integrated into our daily lives, and in order to succeed in the modern world, it is crucial for children to have a strong foundation in digital literacy and computer skills.

Technology is changing the way we learn and access information. With the internet and an abundance of online sources, there has never been better access to learning material. By teaching children how to use these resources effectively, they can take advantage of the vast amount of information available to them, and become more effective independent learners.

We can already see that digital technology is becoming increasingly important for communication and collaboration. As the world becomes more interconnected, it is important for children to be able to communicate and collaborate with others using these digital tools. By learning how to use these tools safely at a young age, children can develop important social and communication skills that will serve them well in the future.

As part of our ethos, we feel it is crucial that we fully prepare our children for a digital future and build this into the curriculum across our partnership.

Greenheart Learning Partnership believes in delivering education in sustainable environments while building an understanding with our young people on the importance of the drive towards net zero.

Greenheart is working to achieve this through its work on the estates, its operations and its curriculum.

• Investigating Solar Panels for all of our academies
• Investigating air source heat pumps to replace inefficient boilers
• Investigating electric car charging stations in staff car parks to encourage greener modes of transport
• Investigating new ways of communicating and operating business across the partnership academies to reduce travel
